Description: The long tentacles of this beautiful yellow zoanthid anemone are about one inch high (2.5 – 3 cm) high and growing solitary (no contact between polyps) on a reef rock. This is a hardy, fast-growing specimen that is well suited for beginner reef aquarist. Although in most aquarium literature this species is constantly referred to as either Parazoanthus gracilis, or P. axinellae, its genus wasn’t yet positively identified by scientist (Svein A. Fossa, Alf Jacob Nilsen - The Modern Coral Reef Aquarium).
